SHASTRA PRATIBHA
Shastra Pratibha Contest (SPC) is a national science talent search contest organized for the Indian students studying in Qatar.
SPC is supported by Department of Science & Technology, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) & National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT)
Objectives
> Acquaint students with India’s rich contributions to the world of science & technology.
> Popularize science among students studying in grade VI to XI under various educational curriculums
> Create interest in science and technology.
> Educate about India’s ancient & modern contributions to Science and Technology.
> Provide hands-on training through workshops and other events.
How many ROUNDS of competition ?
Round 1 : Online Exam using App and/or Safe Exam browser.
Round 2 & Final: Physical Exam followed by Face to face Interview.
How to register for the contest?
To register click SPC REGISTER link at the top of the page.
Fill up the form as per instructions. Upon successful registration confirmation email will be received with username & password for log-in to dashboard.

What’s the syllabus of the contest?
Syllabus is divided into two portions: –
Curriculum followed in the school at the respective grade
Study material consisting of the followings:
>>>> Life story of Dr Swaroop Bhatnagar
>>>> Indian Freedom Struggle & Science
Study material can be downloaded by logging into the dashboard using Username & Password.
Structure of the contest: –
Round 1: The first round of the contest, will be conducted through a home based MCQ type online examination via Mobile App & Safe Exam browser.
Round 2 & FINAL ROUND: Written Exam conducted on-site, followed by a Face to Face Interview. Venu and other relevant details will be made available at appropriate time.
Mock test : will be arranged before 1st Round of contest for a specific period.

JUNIOR: Age 10 to 14 years as on 31st Dec
SENIOR: Age 15 to 17 years as on 31st Dec
Should have an active enrolment in a school in Qatar
How much is fee for the contest?
The Contest is FREE for all eligible students.

What are the accolades:
A total of 12 winners and 12 runners will be selected. (2 winners and 2 runners from each grade – 6th to 11th).
Certificate/Medal will be awarded.
The top 2 teams shall be announced as Qatar State-Level Winners and will qualify for direct nomination to participate in National Level Camp scheduled in India.
*All expenses – transport, stay and food will be borne by the students.
